We trying to use spot in inRobot application in our factory field. When we move Spot with Inrobot, the obstacle avoidance Cushion distance is fixed at a minimum, and it sometimes approach people or objects extremely near. It’s very dangerous ...So we would like InRobot to implement a function to control Spot's Obstacle Avoidance Cushion Distance contoroll function. ↓ Obstacle Avoidance Cushion Distance contoroll (Spot’s official contoroll tablet)
On behalf of Celanese Charts super users:I would like the ability to compute min/max across multiple inputs at once. Currently, the Element-wise Minimum/Maximum function can only compute between two inputs. In order to extend the function to include other inputs, I must create duplicate functions and create branch calculations. It would be much easier to just assign a range of inputs to the function from the start and produce a single output.
Currently, when uploading files through the CDF web UI we have the option to provide the dataset ID.It would be nice to replace the textbox with a dropdown showing the dataset names we could select from (similarly to other places on the web UI where the dataset can be filtered). It is a bit annoying to have to search the dataset first, copy the ID and paste it to the textbox. Some more ideas to consider:dropdown or search-box to select label(s) as well, common for a group of files to be uploaded option to provide metadata key + values, common for the group of files to be uploaded option to set the filename (or the filename + some common suffix) as the external ID for each file from the group of files to be uploaded, or set to an arbitrary string if it is just a single file
On behalf of all Celanese InField super users:I would like the ability to decide how a checklist is shared upon releasing. Today, the only option that allows me to share across all my users upon release is the “automatic release” feature. However, there are times when a checklist must be manually opened from a template. In this instance, a unique checklist is opened and cannot be viewed across all users. I have the ability to share the checklist using a link but this is not ideal when working out in the field using a mobile device. It would be great to have some capability to allow me to choose between opening a unique checklists or opening a shared checklist upon release. It would also help if the “share” button would instead let me choose from a director of users or a team to share the checklist with directly in InField rather than relying on copy and pasting a link.
I’ve provided what should be a very clean visual explanation of the issues that I’m having. I’m trying to add events to my chart that indicate the run status of each pump in a system. I know the equipment tag of the pump I’m looking at and I have done manual CDF searches to find that the tag has events over the time range that I’m looking at. However, the query within charts returns no events. When I query the sister pump’s events, it identifies only 2 of the 3 events in the time frame, useful, but not enough to do what I need to do.
Our hydro reservoirs have water level measurements at different locations. These measurements are linked to the reservoir asset, which can have a geolocation assigned, but we would also like to assign a geolocation to each specific time series. A workaround could of course be to set up a “measurement station” asset for each time series, but I think a geolocation directly on the timeseries would be a more elegant solution.
Hello community members! In the upcoming fall of 2023, we are planning to introduce geolocation and geography data models to our Data Modeling service. One of the potential applications of this feature is the integration of geolocation data with our Timeseries model. This combination will allow the creation of a powerful TimeSeriesWithGeoLocation model, enabling our users to analyze time-dependent data in conjunction with geographical information. We would also like to acknowledge and thank @Kristian Nymoen for inspiring this idea with this post. We'd love to hear from you:How do you envision utilizing geolocation and geography data models in your projects? What specific functionalities or features would you like to see in the TimeSeriesWithGeoLocation model? Are there any challenges or concerns you foresee with the implementation of this feature?@Thomas Sjølshagen @AasmundEldhuset
On the ‘Interactive Engineering Diagrams’ page in the Cognite web UI we can see the list of diagrams pending approval. It would be nice to see the list of approved diagrams too, and to be able to filter for approved vs. pending.I noticed that if both the:Pending interactive engineering diagram Interactive engineering diagram labels are added (through the APIs) to a diagram then it will show up in the list. Refer to the screenshots below.I’m assuming this may be a bug, because a diagram shouldn’t have both labels at the same time. So once a contextualization is approved, it will have only the Interactive engineering diagram label and it should show up in the list.
On behalf of the learning facilitator of the MeOH unit:When archiving and deleting unwanted or completed checklists that have been released from a template, the template feature “historical reports for this template” allows users to re-open checklists that were thought to have been removed. Can this feature be restricted to only Admin users? The concern is that general users could potentially open previously archived/deleted checklists and alter the data that was captured; ultimately affecting the integrity of the data.
The ability to do digital redlining in Industry Canvas would be a huge value add.
On behalf of Celanese Utilities super users:As a user, I would like the option to take multiple readings per line item within a single checklist. We have various readings that we take 3-4 times a day or even twice a shift. Right now my only option is to create multiple checklists to represent the different measurement intervals/shifts. The advanced scheduling option only facilitates a day/night shift or essentially “two” readings per line item per checklist.I would like to see a drop down of sort where I am able to select a measurement frequency per shift/day of the week. This will prevent us from over-crowding the application with duplicated checklists and allow for more streamlined reporting.
When creating templates in InField initially you are allowed to decide if you want the checklist to be deployed at certain intervals automatically or manually every time. These options are only available at the templates initial creation, once made they can not be changed. We should have the ability to change whether or not we want a checklist to be deployed automatically or manually at any given time as the need arises without having to recreate the entire checklist from scratch.
We are making grafana dashboards for our customers to monitor their data. It would be great to be able to make alerts for them so that they can see it in their dashboard. For this we need CDF data sources to be compatible with grafana alert.
Hello! I am using Grafana and Cognite as a source of data. I want to implement map visualizations for some data and use different layers in the map plugin. But the problem is that I cannot set the proper query name and in the data options list, it appears as undefined. I’ve already raised a question in Grafana’s community. But, maybe it’s a problem with the Cognite Data Fusion plugin for Grafana. Here is a link to the topic in the Grafana community. Thank you in advance.
Can Cognite SUpport ground AGV to transport containers from one place to another?
I find it very strange that we do not have the ability to have Hotspotted documents in Infield.
If we are using Robot to do checklists such as read gauges, it would make sense that data can be used to populate the Infield checklist in Cognite Infield. These two need to be integrated. Can we create a checklist and tasks in Infield, and then use a robot to complete it?
On behalf of Celanese InField users:I would like the ability to utilize the automatic scheduling capabilities while also taking advantage of the advanced scheduling options in InField. This will allow me to schedule my checklists throughout the week and not have to worry about needing to manually locate and open the checklists every time. As it stands, the automatic release and advanced scheduling options are mutually exclusive and considered their own “template type” at creation. I would instead like the ability to select these as option on any template that I create in the future.
On behalf of a DEL (Daily Execution Lead) As a user, I would like the ability to rename my synthetic timeseries tags without InField creating a "new" synthetic tag and losing the linked historical data to the previous tag in the process
Submitted based on observations at Celanese of users having difficulty with keeping up with the tag naming convention. As an InField template builder, I want to be able to build InField manual tags without having to flip back and forth to my naming convention document to remind me how my organization is building manual tags. This would save time, improve consistency in naming tags, and allow the template builder to focus more on the build of the checklist rather than the naming. It would be nice for an organization to input a general template for a tag naming convention, and for InField to have this organized in a ready-to-use fashion so that the InField template builder only has to input the checklist item information.
On behalf of Celanese Units: Acid South, Vinyl Acetate, UtilitiesAs a process expert doing rounds on a mobile device it is not necessary to see the measurement reading time series tag associated to checklist item. It is confusing and takes up space on the mobile device. We can see/find it on trends when we are looking for it, if needed. Need a way to hide by default this when setting up a template or set to hide?
On behalf of Celanese Clear Lake Utilities InField Super UsersWould like to see Yes/No options included as status field in InField templates. This is especially important to the Utilities team as they implement their EHS check sheets which are regulated and routinely reviewed. The Ok/Not Ok fields do not satisfy this requirement. Example below:1.1 T0082 overhead pipe rack leaking? - (Yes/No)The above example can be confusing when restricted to (Ok/Not Ok) fields. Would “Ok” mean the there is a leak or the opposite? The Utilities team has expressed this concern primarily due to having to re-train the unit to understand the new nomenclature and would prefer to keep the (Yes/No) fields moving forward.
