The tags for Yggdrasil (and other assets) are represented in CDF. There is a need for making relations between tags to build more knowledge into the model.I am working within the maintenance domain, and the simplest use case where such a capability would be needed, is when the CBM engineer want to express that two (or three) sensors are comparable in terms of measurement value. The concept is called transmitter comparison, and it ties into the fact that if two or more transmitters are to output the same value (pressure, temperature, level etc.), you can monitor the outputted values, and perform maintenance if one of the transmitters starts drifting/freezes etc.Currently these kind of relationships are kept in the condition monitoring system, it is difficult to integrate changes to the plant (modifications) that might affect such models. Keeping these relation close to the LCI-data in CDF, would enable governance on this kind of data. CBM engineers currently reads P&IDs to identify
The date field “Last updated” and “Created time” when viewing files linked to assets does not reflect any information I find in the file itself. Where do these fields originate. 2017 is long before our CDF instance was created so it is a bit strange.These are the datetimes from the file header:{ "name": "SKA-AK-ER300-P-XB-0003-001.pdf", "sourceModifiedTime": 2021-01-25 01:30:44, "uploadedTime": 2024-10-02 06:07:37, "createdTime": 2024-05-01 02:46:45, "lastUpdatedTime": 2024-10-11 09:00:04, "uploaded": true}
Hi, I would like to get more information regarding the Cognite 3D & Scene module. I have tried building the scene and added 3D model and object but facing some blocker to proceed. Below are my question and hope someone able to help to answer it.Question:How to upload & publish 3D model using SDK or API? How to add 3D model to the Sceme using SDK or API? In CDF UI, only one 3D object instance allow to be added in the scene? Is there a way to have multiple instance of the same 3D object in one scene?
We have recently made a change to one of source systems which caused a lot of assets to be recreated in CDF with new names, ids, etc. And the old assets were deleted. I have now discovered that our annotated P&ID documents still link to these deleted assets. Is this the desired behavior you’ve intended. From my perspective I would have wanted some clearer indication that the annotation was now invalid or that it was simply deleted when the underlying resource was deleted. An annotation with a dead link is quite useless and frankly just in the way.Let’s say there are integrations reading these file and it’s annotations they would expect the linked item to exist, so if they have not implemented some error handling then the integrations would fail. It is simply to say to just implement the error handling, but it is better (though admittedly harder) to eliminate the issue at the source.Has there been some considerations on this issue? Hi Community,I would like to know if anyone have information on how the Cognite Streamlit Reveal python package full feature & capability documentation? Second, can the "cognite-streamlit-reveal” have the zoom in / zoom out event trigger? This is because we want to develop a use case where user able to zoom in into the oil rig plaform 3D and once the zoom stop, it able to send and event to show what are the bounding box of that area so that we can load data related to that specific area during zoom in and zoom out interaction. Thanks
When a user logs in from a mobile device (tablet or phone), the application should auto switch to mobile mode. Or create a mobile friendly link that starts with “m.infield” etc.
Hello Team,i was trying to create a Plotly chart. while importing i constantly get error message stating that Plotly module not found.same was the case for scipy. how can i install these modules?
Hello, We are trying to delete a unit on a container attribute using CDF toolkit. CDF toolkit identifies that there is a container change. However, this change is not reflected on the container and view schema after the deployment. No error raised.Note: Adding and modifying container attribute unit works well.Any ideas ? Thanks,
For timeseries, I can only see the datapoints itself, not details and metadata. Not urgent to have this and I understand that IndustrialCanvas is still under development.
Hello everyone,My name is Erzsebet Fodor and I work as a software engineering consultant at Bouvet in Norway. I am excited to start the course on Cognite Data Fusion Architecture and Implementation Fundamentals!
Let’s say I have a time series with the behavior seen above. This is a tag that represents the water consumption in my house (it’s a hypothetical). Occasionally I manually reset the sensor measuring it and it goes back to zero as you can see in the curve, but otherwise this sensor works more or less like your water meter: it measures the total volume of water consumed since the beginning of times until the meter reaches 999,999 and it resets itself to 000,000 automatically How do I implement a scheduled calculation in Charts that will compute the hourly water consumption at my house? I want to start calculating this at 00:30:00 of today, and the calc should run every hour after that (i.e. 01:30:00, 02:30:00, 03:30:00, 04:30:00, etc indefinitely) Thanks.
HelloI want to know if it is possible to implement a loop within a transformation?
I am doing some hands-on exercises, but I am stuck in a point here.The task is to Add some time series data:- Create a time series object for each country asset in CDF called <country>_population and associate it with its corresponding country asset. Remember to associate the data as well to the data set that you created. As an example, the time series for Aruba would be called Aruba_population.- Load the data from populations_postprocessed.csv into a pandas dataframe.- Insert the data for each country in this dataframe using client.time_series.data.insert_dataframe.- As a check, retrieve the latest population data for the countries of Latvia, Guatemala, and Benin.- Calculate the total population of the Europe region using the Asset Hierarchy and the time series data.The point I stuck on:=> “Insert the data for each country in this dataframe using client.time_series.data.insert_dataframe”. I am not sure what does this means, although I had done an early exercise …“Insert th
Running a quick entity matching of time series to an asset. It says, An error has occurred while processing the prediction job. Where can we see the root cause?
