Cognite InField: Rolling Back an Approved ChecklistPlanned for development

On behalf of the learning facilitator for the VAM unit:Can the capability to roll-back a previously approved checklists be added as a feature for admins in InField? The reasoning behind this is recently a checklist was accidently approved by one of my team captains before being completed and there was no way to go back and complete the remaining checklist items without opening a new checklist for that shift.

Cognite InField: Adding Checklists Items to TemplatesPlanned for development

On behalf of Celanese Clear Lake InField super usres:When creating/editing a template in InField, I would like the ability to choose where my new line item is added in my checklist. This is especially important when editing existing templates that could have hundreds of line items. InField by default creates the new item at the bottom of the checklist and I would then have to click and drag the item where I would like it to be. This process is very time consuming and tedious. If instead, I am able to insert new items anywhere within my checklist it would save so much more time.

Cognite InField 2.0: Icon does not match shiftNew

The icons on the checklists don't necessarily match the shift that the checklist is meant for. For example, there are checklists that release at 2am but are meant to be available for when the day shift comes on. The checklists that release at 2pm are meant for night shift. In this case, the sun icon does not make sense for the 2pm checklist, and the would instead make more sense for the 2am checklist. Same thing with the moon icon for 2am - it would make more sense for 2pm release since it is meant for the night shift. The template creator could designate the proper icon to describe the shift to complete the checklist.

It's hard to tell the date of each checklist in the checklist view. As a process expert, it would be nice to have older checklists especially have dates so that it's easier to find more recently opened ones.

Uploading CSV to Staging Area

Hello,I have been trying to load a CSV file into a table while going through the Cognite Data Fusion Fundamentals course. I have tried for over an hour to load the data correctly. One of the column headers adds 2 commas after the text and is throwing off the SQL formula. I am using the stock CSV file provided in the course, loading it straight from my desktop and not making any changes to the file itself.

PI Extractor and Extraction Pipelines

Hi, we are using the PI Extractor with Extraction Pipeline and is pushing the config through the pipeline.But we noticed that after updating Config in extraction pipeline we have to restart the PI Extractor to force it to use the updated config.If we update the config we can se in run history that the extractor is reporting “Seen” on the new config revision but it is not loading and using the new config.Is there a way to force it to use new config?

Data model query for Bi-directional relationships

I have a question about querying a data model using the CDF SDK.In the Cognite SDK docs there is an example for retrieving actors in a movie (https://cognite-sdk-python.readthedocs-hosted.com/en/latest/data_modeling.html#query-instances) from the following data model: But if we would change this to finding which pumps belongs to a given facility from this data model (picture below), using a bi directional relationship between facility and pump, what changes must be made to the example from the sdk docs for this to work?

Problem with ingesting datapoint immediately after Timeseries object creation with multiple concurrent jobs.

We’re attempting to execute 10 concurrent jobs, and each one will create approximately 20 Timeseries objects, immediately ingesting datapoints for these newly created Timeseries objects in a loop.However, if we try to run 500 similar jobs with 10 concurrently running at a time, about 10% of the jobs fail due to a ‘Timeseries not found’ error.We theorize that the creation of a Timeseries object can take some time. Therefore, immediately ingesting the datapoint might fail because Cognite doesn’t refresh quickly enough to find the corresponding Timeseries object. This issue only occurs when we attempt to run multiple concurrent jobs.Has anyone else encountered similar issues?

Not able to upload metadata using OPC UA Extractor

Issue Running Transformation to get data into CDF

Hello, I am going through Cognite Data Fusion Fundamentals and am having an issue that I cant figure out. After multiple attempts I am loading 1 row of data to try and figure out my issue.I make it to the “Preview the Transformation” step: The next step is to “Run the Transformation” step and this is where I am running into an issue. I get the below error message and theres no suggestion on what to do to correct my apparent error. Any idea what to do or how to progress? I just want to finish this course. -George
