As a user of Infield I want to be able to include a description for checklist task. An example where this is important is for handling information for an emergency task where I want to have telephone numbers and actions written down.
On behalf of B.Braun:Today one can only view “all” checklists or those assigned to “me”. It would be benefitial to have a filter for “Discipline” since one distinguishes this when creating checklists. This would enable other operators/electricians etc. to take on available rutine checks in their respective discipline when having available time. Would also make it easier for people creating the checklists for their respective fields. FYI@Abram Ziegelaar
Capability to connect Power BI in DirectQuery mode to CDF via a graphQL connector. For example;https://www.cdata.com/drivers/graphql/powerbi/https://airbyte.com/connections/graphql-api-to-microsoft-powerbi
Entered on behalf of Celanese VAM Unit InField SuperuserAs a shift Captain I would like the option to filter for only Not Ok within the checklist before I approve it. I am only interested in reviewing those items and address them as needed. This will save time and human error from scrolling to find the Not OK ones (and see the comments and images attached. You should be be able to filter on any one of the states (e.g. To Do, N/A, OK, Not OK, etc)
Hello, I am very new to Cognite and started the CDF architecture and implementation fundamentals course. It would be very helpful to have a glossary for all the acronyms used, with which some may not be familiar with (API, SDK, CLI etc) . Thank you! Kristina
I want the ability to organize site vs. personal vs. enterprise in Canvas.
As a user of Charts I want to visualize event data from FDM
Turn on/off interpolation of data in Charts If data is missing in raw, Charts does not give an option on what to do with the missing data.I want to know if there is a gap in the data and if the data is interpolated.I want to be able to configure if interpolation is to be used of not.
As a user of CDF I want that general documents scan be linked to multiple assets.
As a user I want a trigger to create a checklist to be sent to relevant people in a teams channel. Below is an example of how it can work for an emergency response checklist. Use CaseEmergency ResponseRequirementQR code to open an interface in INFIELD ? (Cognite somewhere) User selects the type of incident Health & Safety Fire / Explosion Environmental Selection results in; Opening an instance of the relevant Checklist Checklists need to be site specific (for example the Fire authorities are different for each site) Triggering an alert message to the respective TEAMS channel (where team members are defined & emergency response teams can manage their own membership, therefore no need to define team members in Cognite) TEAMS Channels must be configurable on a per site basis
As a user of Monitoring Capabilities in CDF I want to be able to set up rules for when an alert is to be shared, and who it is to be shared with. By having this I can make sure that the critical altert are being communicated and that less critical alerts are not.
As a user I want to be able to inform my team about the checklists and inspect the history logExport as PDF complete with a history log Export a link to report & send via email Have approval steps of a checklist
When I rename a section of tasks in InField 2.0, and then click “Rename Group”, it moves the entire section of tasks to the bottom of the template. It would make more sense for the section to remain in place, and just show the different name to avoid having to drag and pull the section back up to where it was.
I am missing a proper dashboarding functionality. A canvas where we can place different types of visuals that we connect to data form CDF. A use case relevant to us is to monitor certain equipment health over time. Various visuals are relevant: time series plots, KPI cards with “delta value” functionality (difference from previous value in card), bar charts, histograms, pie charts, status indicators (green light, orange light, red light), and so on.Is this something that has been discussed for the roadmap, or will Cognite go go into this market? There are certainly many different tools to use, such as Power BI, Grafana, or custom Python solutions with streamlit/dash, but being able to quickly set something up directly in CDF without having to deal with connectors would be very welcome.
Request to enable providing space, version information in the @edge directivee.g. type Relationship @edge(space: “A”, version: “1”) { relationName: String!, relationType: RelationType}
On behalf of customer:It is difficult to identify which instance of Infield and Maintain that is linked from different environments (Prod, dev, etc). Necessary information to know for developers and system admins. Would like a discrete indicator in a configure pane so that the end user can find out.
When reviewing annotations on Pending Interactive Engineering Diagrams, the Pending Red Circle is not transparent and partially blocks the underlying text. Can the circle be made slightly transparent so the user can validate the model correctly detected the annotation when performing QC on the diagrams?
Filling out a product enhancement request for CDF Monitoring. Users will want the ability to create a monitoring job on the no-code calculations in Charts. The average user will not want to have to create a synthetic tag through SDK/Python and Cognite functions. I’ve attached an example of how this looks. In this example I would like to create a monitoring job on “LMTD”, but from the dropdown only manually derived time series from InField or time series from PI are available as these time series exist in CDF. Would like to be able to locally grab calculations within my charts.
We trying to use spot in inRobot application in our factory field. When we move Spot with Inrobot, the obstacle avoidance Cushion distance is fixed at a minimum, and it sometimes approach people or objects extremely near. It’s very dangerous ...So we would like InRobot to implement a function to control Spot's Obstacle Avoidance Cushion Distance contoroll function. ↓ Obstacle Avoidance Cushion Distance contoroll (Spot’s official contoroll tablet)
On behalf of Celanese Charts super users:I would like the ability to compute min/max across multiple inputs at once. Currently, the Element-wise Minimum/Maximum function can only compute between two inputs. In order to extend the function to include other inputs, I must create duplicate functions and create branch calculations. It would be much easier to just assign a range of inputs to the function from the start and produce a single output.
Currently, when uploading files through the CDF web UI we have the option to provide the dataset ID.It would be nice to replace the textbox with a dropdown showing the dataset names we could select from (similarly to other places on the web UI where the dataset can be filtered). It is a bit annoying to have to search the dataset first, copy the ID and paste it to the textbox. Some more ideas to consider:dropdown or search-box to select label(s) as well, common for a group of files to be uploaded option to provide metadata key + values, common for the group of files to be uploaded option to set the filename (or the filename + some common suffix) as the external ID for each file from the group of files to be uploaded, or set to an arbitrary string if it is just a single file
On behalf of all Celanese InField super users:I would like the ability to decide how a checklist is shared upon releasing. Today, the only option that allows me to share across all my users upon release is the “automatic release” feature. However, there are times when a checklist must be manually opened from a template. In this instance, a unique checklist is opened and cannot be viewed across all users. I have the ability to share the checklist using a link but this is not ideal when working out in the field using a mobile device. It would be great to have some capability to allow me to choose between opening a unique checklists or opening a shared checklist upon release. It would also help if the “share” button would instead let me choose from a director of users or a team to share the checklist with directly in InField rather than relying on copy and pasting a link.
