Hi, Currently been working on the deployment of an app through Flows, and during my first deployment + activation, it went well. The issue was that the name and description I had put was more so for a demo project (‘my-test-app’) than something descriptive. I tried first updating app.json with new values for name and description fields while simultaneously bumping the versionTag. Then I redeployed and activated once more. The output of the commands seemed like it had been successful, but when viewing the app in the CDF UI interface, it still said the old name while also stating that it was last updated during my first deployment.Then I saw from the CLI that there was a ‘deactivate’ command. I wanted to try this in order to then see if I deactivated the one present and then deployed again now with a new externalId that it would hide the previous one and deploy correctly my one. But the wierd thing is that the output of this command says that there is no active version, while apps status

 When defining both data-model time-series nodes and DatapointSubscriptions on those nodes, cdf publish fails, because the data being subscribed to does not yet exist in CDF. This means we have to first push the .node.yaml files, allow the CI/CD pipeline to run, and then push the subscriptions. This does not work however because the moment both changes exist in dev at the same time, and we move it over to the next branch, the project won’t deploy. Does the toolkit somehow support defining data-model time-series and subscriptions on those time-series on the same deployment, or can it be implemented that nodes are published before subscriptions are made? ╭─ Deploy summary (dry run) ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╮│

I come from a data analysis background, specifically working on anomaly detection in power plant equipment operations. I find Cognite to be a great learning platform.I would like to suggest whether it is possible to have a sandbox environment where we can practice using data and apply our own logic. Recently, I received communication from Cognite encouraging users to implement their own anomaly detection ideas, which is a great opportunity to learn and contribute.Having access to a sandbox setup with relevant data would allow us to build and test data models for anomaly detection. This would be beneficial for both learning and practical application, especially since the platform is closely aligned with real plant operations.

Hi Team,Our observation while storing duplicate entries in Cognite Streams:Mutable Streams - It discards the duplicate entries consistently.Immutable Streams - It sometimes allow exact duplicate entries (externalId and other fields) and sometimes it doesn’t.Even when we checked in the Cognite AI, it says it usually doesn’t allow duplicate entries but in some rare scenarios, it allows.Could you please let us know the behavior. If it allows in rare scenarios, please let us know the exact scenarios.Thanks,Rahul

Maybe this will be solved with the release of Adaptive Experiences, but for now the overview of the published apps is a bit cumbersome to navigate. Here is an example of an app, “Data Quality Dashboard”, that shows up twice, this is the same app but with different versions. The only way to tell from here is the updated timestamp. Would be nice with some kind of indicator showing which is the current version of the app, and maybe some kind of grouping that indicates that it is in fact the same app and not just two apps that happen to have the same name. The apps have a label that shows whether it is a “Flows app” or a “Streamlit app”, but these labels are not searchable, nor is there any functionality that allows for filtering. Would be nice if it was possible to add labels/tags to apps that were searchable allowing us to filter and group apps together. Help! I am currently facing an issue where the dataset data type is set as string = true, whereas it should be false (numeric). As a result, the chart is not displaying any data due to the field being treated as a string.However, when I download the dataset as a CSV file, the data is present. Could you advise if there is a quick fix on your side to convert the data type from string to numeric?

Hi,We're using the Cognite DB extractor (version 3.9.2) with a MongoDB database (Azure Cosmos DB via the MongoDB API) and are trying to set up incremental loading.The documentation for mongodb (https://docs.cognite.com/cdf/integration/guides/extraction/configuration/db#databases.mongodb) doesn't mention the use of start_at and incremental_field but after testing them and looking at the debug logs, we can see the extractor sends the {start_at} placeholder literally without substituting the state value. My questions are:    1. Is start_at substitution supported at all for MongoDB JSON queries, or is it SQL-only?    2. If incremental loading is not supported for MongoDB, is there a recommended workaround?Thanks.

In the Charts chapter, question 7 and 8 in the quiz asks for some reference values that I cannot understand can be correct. The quiz asks for number of  threshold events and durations within a specific timeframe: From the Data quality use case, how many gaps / events have been detected in Temp in: Gaps detection calculation during the following period: Jun 9, 2022 (9:00) - Jun 10, 2022 (9:00), Type: Between Min & Max of 1? However, none of the alternatives match the resulting dataset I see in Charts. I am a new learner, so perhaps a mistake somewhere, but I have checked multiple times and cannot see any error on my part. How does asset hierarchy work in CDF?

Hi EveryoneWe're looking for guidance on the best approach to bulk-download file contents from CDF. We have approximately 295000 files across several datasets that we need to download. We've tried the Cognite Toolkit CLI's cdf data download files --include-file-contents, which works but has a hard limit of 100 files per invocation and requires manual filtering to stay under that cap which is not feasible at our scale.Questions for the community:1. Has anyone done bulk file downloads at this scale? What approach worked best?2. Is cognite-cdffs suitable for ~295k files, or is the SDK with manual batching more appropriate?3. Are there any rate limits or throttling considerations at this volume?Thank you in advance!David Shaji George

For metadata on assets (and other object types) in the app UI, the text is capped even though there is a lot of white space. Inconvenient when viewing it on a big screen and expecting to be able to see the whole string.    

Hi, I am struggling trying to find my the description field is empty "-" for my assets (in Data Management > Data explorer > Assets. Looking for the problem I verified the followingsuccessfully imported data into RAW (seen under Data Management > Integrate > Staging)     successfully ran transformations on the RAW table and populated CogniteAssets (seen under Data Management > Data models > Data Management > CogniteAsset)    Any advice would be helpful? 

How are .nwd and .lfa files rendered in Cognite Reveal? Does CDF already convert .nwd and .lfa files in a lossless way, without losing any node or asset metadata? Is is converted to .glb/.gltf file types as conversion output?What happens if we use raw Three.js instead? How can we work with .nwd files in that case? Three.js doesn’t support .nwd files directly, right?Is it necessary to convert them to .fbx or .obj formats? Wouldn’t that result in a lossy conversion, potentially causing loss of metadata, asset hierarchy, or textures? How do we use .nwd and .lfa files for show warnings or overlays? 

I follow the Docments for binding files in CDF(client.files.upload_content)After uploading, AtlasAI is indeed able to use the content.However, this file seems to be a chunked TXT document generated from the customer document. I believe this TXT file should follow a certain structure, but I could not find any documentation describing the expected text content structure in the help docs.Is this an industry-standard format, or is the file_content structure arbitrary?It seems that the completeness and quality of the chunk file directly determine the upper limit of AtlasAI’s intelligence and response quality.
