charts Daily average of the previous day

If anyone knows a good way to do this, please let me know.

I would like to see the previous day's 24-hour values by averaging the data over the day with a mean of 0 days 24:00:00 (resampling to granularity), but due to the UTC+9:00 specification, the previous day's processing does not occur until 9:00 AM in japan.

I would like to see the previous day's nightly processing volume average at 8:00 AM.

The only way I can think of is to use the “shift time series” to force it forward, i would be appriciated if anyone have a better idea..

Hi!

Your thinking sounds correct to me. You can use shift time series and resample to granularity for the calculation that it is done in the charting window. You might need to zoom out into one day charting window.

However, if you would like to run it on schedule every day, that would not produce correct results as user cannot specify a start time of a schedule and a timestamp to start calculation from. the scheduled calculation would be run on discrete intervals of [now-24h, now], where “now” is time of the scheduler start.

thank you for your reply.

I’d post a product idea so that start time can be set/change on scheduled calculation more flexilbe. Daily average is essential to analysis and simulation.
