Hello All, I am curious to know, how does Cognite follows containerization practices. Can we create and use virtual environment in CDF jupyter notebook?I had installed (%pip install) some packages in my notebook and used it for a while. Surprisingly in next session (Notebook restart / kernel restart) it is giving error as ‘package not found’. 

Using the figure from the documentation for my question regarding mapping (below).In the figure, a new view called BasicPump is created by mapping attribute “manufacturer” from Equipment container, and “maxPressure” from Pump container. If the attributes “manufacturer” and “maxPressure” are indexed in their respective containers, does the view BasicPump benefit from these indexes?Ref: https://docs.cognite.com/cdf/dm/dm_concepts/dm_containers_views_datamodels/

Hello team, I am facing constant issue with jupyter notebook in CDF. It often stops working with memory error. Is there any document - how much data can be fetched / analyzed in single attempt with Jupyter notebook? PFA for reference.Also, does Cognite has any ‘compute instance upgrade’ option? Also, being a SAS product, is it having auto scale feature?  

Asset which linked to Timeseries or vice versa filtering option is not available in Data Explorer screen in CDFAnd Also, Asset linked to Event or vice versa event linked to Asset Filtering option is not available in Data Explorer screen in CDF.Also, Files to Events or Events to Files etc.

We are using the MQTT hosted extractor in CDF to retrieve data from an MQTT broker hosted on Microsoft Azure Event Grid.One method for authenticating an MQTT client in Azure Event Grid is through thumbprint matching. In this authentication process, a certificate file (.pem), a key file (.key), and a username are verified by the broker. However, in the Cognie hosted extractor, it's currently not possible to provide the username simultaneously with the certificate and key files.If only the key and certificate files are provided, an Implementation Error is encountered as expected.How can I provide username information along with the key files to the hosted extractor?

HiI am practicing through online help manual through “https://learn.cognite.com/” Where I am successfully logged in to  “cdf-fundamentals” project. Now want to create new data set  as per instruction there is icon on left side to create new data set but I dont find it.Can anyone have idea how to create new data set in “cdf-fundamentals” demo project.  

Hello,Is there a way to use a parameter from OPC-UA Extractor config.yml file in order to make a conversion of some numeric tags (i.e. conversion on the measurement unit from grams to pounds)? As I have not yet found any relatable parameter that would do this and using transformations as the data is pushed in CDF is not efficient on performance as I need to filter out the datapoints already converted.Thanks,Raluca

Hello, I have a SQL table that has 2000 rows total. The SQL DB Extractor 3.0 configured to extract all rows (Select *) and places them in a Raw table.The extractor log shows 2000 rows extracted.2024-08-02 00:00:05.558 UTC [INFO    ] ThreadPoolExecutor-2_0 - No more rows for Caster_LabData_Narrow. 2000 rows extracted in 0.047 seconds2024-08-02 00:00:05.558 UTC [INFO    ] ThreadPoolExecutor-2_0 - Reporting new success run: No more rows for Caster_LabData_Narrow. 2000 rows extracted in 0.047 seconds The Raw table UI shows it has only 1000 rows of data, not the 2000 I am expecting. How can I confirm the exact number of rows in the Raw table? I tried to select all rows from that raw table with a transformation and the preview only showed 1000 rows BUT I can’t tell whether that is a transform preview UI limitation or not.As a test, I tried to select all rows from a different raw table with 1993 rows with a transform and place the results in a 3rd raw table. The resulting 3rd table only shows

While Loading Data to Power BI , it is taking huge time for loading transformed data.

Hi all,in the course Introduction to CDF & Grafana you are supposed to be able to generate client secret to start using the grafan dashboard.However, it does not load anything when clicking the button. It just grays out the screen with a white “x” on it.Can someone please fix the pop-up or let me know another way to get the client secret? 

As per documentation, it is mentioned that 10,000 timeseries is the limit in each subscription. I see issue with count while adding timeseries using SDK.I have created timeseries subscription through SDK, it took more than 10000 timeseries. Is there any change in limit under subscription ?  

Hello! Is there a way to push multiple timeseries in CDF timeseries within one single query in the DB extractor config.yml file? Or do we need multiple queries?Also, if my incremental field is a timestamp datetime format, is it working or not as I'm receving an error related to it. Regards,Raluca

A few queries on Streamlit Application :Since this Streamlit application is integrated within Cognite, is there a URL that can be shared with others to access the Streamlit dashboard? Is there a method to effectively organize and filter the content within the application?

Good afternoon, I have to create a variable of type "query" in grafana, I have a data model called "DM_ALL_ASSET_QUALITY_PASSPORT"" with the "Asset_Quality_ListaPropiedades" view, which contains 3 columns that are: "Asset", which is the type of assets, "Header" which tells me if it is General or Metadata, and there is the "Property" column. which contains the properties that each type of assets belongs to, my problem is when I try to call the "Properties" depending on the assets, but I always get this type of error: "Parser: Syntax error: assets{metadata={Type='Manifold'}} | select {Property}" , I try to run the query "assets{metadata={Type='${Asset}'}} | select {Property}" I have tried in different ways but I have not been able to find someone who can help me, attached image. Hi. When creating a solution model upon an enterprise model where all connections are done as direct relations, my DMS excel sheet seems to turn all the connections with IsList=True into edges. I manually have to update the RefProperties sheet and add missing containers to RefContainers. Is this a bug?In the example below, both of the connections displayed are direct relations in the enterprise model, but the DMS excel sheet shows hasGate as an edge:(neat version 0.88.2)

Hi,From what I can tell from the documentation and what I can see from the datapoints we have in CDF the datapoints seem to be using milliseconds. My question is if CDF is currently able to handle microsecond timestamps or if this is functionality that would require additional development and whether or not this is on the current roadmap. Markus Pettersen

I have observed that there is a limitation on search within the pdf documents beyond 100 pages. Earlier the limit was mere 50 pages. We have a commercial project where most of the document are 100 plus pages and I would like to check if this is a product limitation or something else.We would like to be able to search across the entire document without any limit.  

The Assets / Timeseries filter field in Charts shows blank with “recently viewed” list. How to get the full list?Is there any wild card character to show the full list like a * or something ?Also the timeseries filter seems to only work when the filter field has more than 3 characters specified. Is that the expected behaviour?

I am trying to install some python packages that do not appear to have a wheel which turns into a problem because , as far as I know, pyodide is not able to install packages without a wheel. Here is an example of an error I am receiving  - “Can't find a pure Python 3 wheel for 'psutil==5.9.5'.”-How can I address this issue in Jupyter Notebook and streamlit? Is there a workaround? Is there a way to use a different kernel instead of pyodide?I am not facing this issue with CDF functions. How does CDF functions environment differ from Jupyter Notebook and streamlit?
