Assuming that RamaReddy1983 is the db you created in the cdf-fundamentals project. I see that you have managed to create the db and the assets table. I tried adding a table myself and I did see the “I don’t know the primary key” option.. (screenshot below)
Hi @Siyyala Narendra 12 Which academy course are you currently working on?We do not provide any API keys and the cdf projects you have access to should only be used for the hands-on action needed to complete the course.
Hi @Djimra Are you taking a specific course on Cognite Academy?
hi @ericruiwei! I have sent you an email!
Hi @Astha Singh! The Cognite Functions course is a part of a learning path. Meaning that you cannot access it “alone”. Cognite Data Fusion Fundamentals is a learning path. You’ll need to register to a learning path including the Cognite Functions course. Click this link: https://learn.cognite.com/path/data-scientist-basics
the CDF projects through Cognite Academy should be used for course purposes only. You should ask your Cognite contact about a sandbox if you'd like to explore further.
The transformation should throw an error. Have you checked the Run history?
I suggest you take a look at the CDF Fundamentals learning path, specifically the Working with CDF: Contextualize https://learn.cognite.com/path/cognite-data-fusion-fundamentals/working-with-cdf-contextualizeIn the events lesson you can see an example of how events can be linked to assets, the same goes for time series. But by using CDF Transformation you need to have a column that matches something in the assets information. So that you have something to link them by. If not, also in the course linked above, you can find an example on how to use the Entity matcher tool to match time series to assets.
And also insert your data set id, instead of 1234567890
Hi @Sanyogita Wable! I just checked and it works for me. Maybe you @Dilini Fernando can take a look as well?
Hi @sunnyfufu! Can you send me a link to the course you are doing and which step you get this message?
Thanks for the reply @James Robert Stobo ! I’ll note it down and will take a look at it for the future!
Hi @Akshaya Mishra! You can avoid this issue by selecting “Create or Update Time Series” instead of “Create Time Series” which is the one you selected. This is chosen in the very beginning when you create a new Transformation.
Hi @James Robert Stobo ! Which CDF project are you at? It should say somewhere in the upper left corner!
Hi @Randy Thompson Thank you for your question. After some investigating I found the minor error causing this! It seems like you selected “Create” instead of “Create or update” in the action field (see screenshot below). I changed it to the correct action and ran it, and it worked perfectly! I hope you are able to move forward with the rest of your learning journey!
Hi again @DE KOCK Kyle Thank for your reply! Good to hear that you finished! I will give the feedback to the teams responsible for the tools you mention!Thank you!
Hi @DE KOCK Kyle ! Thanks for your feedback! When I try to take a look at the data, I find your data sets as archived. Did you do this after you tried the matching? Some of the search fields filter away archived data sets. I see that you have the assets, time series and events data. Your time series data is also contextualized to the relating assets. Did you manage with the Match resources? Or is this contextualization from using transformations?
Hi @mtnholt I experience the same as you! I’ll look into it! Can you try to access this link instead: https://cognite-learn.fusion.cognite.com/cognite-charts/charts?cluster=westeurope-1.cognitedata.com&env=westeurope-1 If it doesn’t work, go to fusion.cognite.com type cognite-learn as the domain and select the cognite-charts cdf project. Navigate to Chart by clicking on Explore and then Charts.
Hi @Eddy Ramon Gimenez Moreno! Looking into the transformations you’ve ran, I see that you have successfully created your assets! You selected “create assets” instead of a asset hierarchy. Then it tries to make them one by one and throws an error if the paren of the asset it is trying to create doesn’t exist yet. While choosing asset hierarchy we avoid this issue. Why it reads a different number, I’m not sure about, but we do see that when asset hierarchy is selected it reads the correct number (36)! Good luck with the rest of the training!
You should at least have another attempt for the Infield assessment now :)
Hi @Victor de Souza Tarelho! I’m sorry to hear you had so many blackouts yesterday. In future please mention to the course (or link) you are referring to! I tried to do some digging and I think it is Infield you are working with. Is that correct?
Hi @Sai Ram ! I was assuming that you were working on the CDF Fundamentals learning path and using the cdf-fundamentals projects. From what I can see there, it looks like you manage to run your transformations successfully. I guess you found out, but what most likely happened was that when you created your RAW table in some previous steps, you named it slightly different. There is two options, renaming the RAW table (might have to delete the existing one and create a new), or change the name in the SQL code. Let me know if you have any other issue ang your journey!
Hi @Michael Shkapin! No calculations needed. The goal of the post-bootcamp exercise is to answer the questions listed below the paragraph you quote above. We are not looking for an oil and gas answer in detail. But more of the overall process and best practises (think of how it was done in the bootcamp). The goal of the task is to check your overall understanding of what is happening. We are looking for how it is done, theoretically, and you are not required to do any actual deployment etc. I hope this answers your questions!
If this link is through an Academy course, please let us know which (it might also happen that it is already updated, another student reported similar issue)
Are there any parking options available for Houston bootcamp? Free parking in the red parking lot and parking garage. You are allowed to park in any unreserved parking spots, levels 4-10 in the garage. Please be aware the yellow parking lot closest to the building is for visitors/retail shoppers only. Please be aware the Cohesion app currently does not work for entrance to the garage - grab a ticket when entering and you will not be charged when you exit. If you use a key fob to scan into the garage, make sure to scan while exiting to avoid issues with access.
