Hi @Pandey Ashish Tarkeshwar Is this another question, or did you receive your answer here:
@Navyasri Indupalli I have involved Cognite Support to find a solution for this!
Hi, are you sure you have run all the cells above? Please run every single line of code again from the beginning.
Hi @Bjarte Håtveit I experienced the same myself this morning and I will have to talk to the engineering team about it.
Hi @Mugless Durry I need to look into this a bit! I hope it is not blocking you for further progress in the course!
Hi! I’m able to contextualize a P&ID with assets in a different data set. It says “No links” for 5 seconds and then suddenly it gives me 22 links. But you were able to contextualize?
Thanks for the heads up @lchutny I’ll add it to my to-do list to get i checked. In the meantime just continue.
Hi! I tried this myself and I don’t get any error.I see that you have replaced the data_set_id and root_asset.id variable with the actual data set id and the root asset id. Could this cause any issues, anything mixed up? # Create each region as a new assetstore = []for region in df['region'].unique(): asset=Asset(name=region, data_set_id=data_set_id,parent_id=root_asset.id) store.append(asset)client.assets.create(store)
Thanks for the info @lchutny As you follow along the notebooks, you will write some data yourself. This results in there being some additional “random” data in there generated by the learners. We do clean up every 14 days, but there will always be some extra data there. I will need to review the notebook for the “empty” answers you mentioned. I hope you still got the chance to learn to use Cognite Python SDK.
Hi @lchutny Are you using the notebook that belongs to the course? From the authentication part - could you tell me the cdf-project you are connected to?
Hi @Bruce Gee Is this the course: https://learn.cognite.com/path/data-scientist-basics/learn-to-use-the-cognite-python-sdkThe Client ID is already included in the notebook linked in this lesson: https://learn.cognite.com/path/data-scientist-basics/learn-to-use-the-cognite-python-sdk/1305382(CLIENT_ID = "fab52bb5-9de2-4f9e-aefa-712da4b5fe00")You need to clone the repository from GitHub and use the notebooks created for this course.
You find the link to the notebook here: https://learn.cognite.com/python-sdk-transformations/1469463the link in the lesson takes you to a GitHub repository. You need to clone the repository. If you are unsure of how, please check this documentation from GitHub: https://docs.github.com/en/repositories/creating-and-managing-repositories/cloning-a-repository
The Match Entities with Python SDK course is a demonstration and doesn’t have any hands-on to it. The notebook attached can be used, but you would need access to a cdf project (your own/ your company’s). We unfortunately don’t have an environment for this.
@Navyasri Indupalli I see, the notebook you show a screenshot from now is for the Entity Matching course, while you wrote in your initial post that you were doing Python SDK Transformations. So when I checked the Python SDK Transformations notebook, it didn’t match with the code in your screenshots. But then I’ll take a look into the Entity Matching course.
If you do the Python SDK Transformations course I recommend using the notebook linked in the course, where you have already some authentications set up
I also see that you are trying to use the “publidata” cdf project, while the courses uses a different one. The client secret you generated in the course can only be used to access that specific project.
One thing I notice is that in one place you use “api” (in the scope) and in the CDF_CLUSTER you have westeurope-1. I will also need to take a closer look into this myself.
Hi @Navyasri Indupalli We would need some more info to be able to help. The entire error message (or at least the last lines of it) would be helpful
I’m glad you found out @Hannah Håland! Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with!
Hi @Burla Venkateswarlu, @anirudh_maheswari and @ThotaUmaMaheswaraRao. The training credit purchase is going through our Partner team, and they will contact you shortly.
Hi @Sahas Dilip Barangale It only works with a code for now. Please email academy@cognite.com and we will help you!
Hi @Salma Ghafoor It seems to be due to the configuration of the transformation. The Target resource type needs to be “Asset Hierarchy” instead of “Assets”. The Assets target resource type does not recognize the parent external id attribute. You can change it from the transformations UI by clicking on the dropdown next to “Create or Update Assets”See the pictures below.
Really excited to test it out!
There is nothing more underneath CogniteConnectionError: ?Have you tried to refresh the browser and try again? (you would have to run all the cells from the beginning)
Hi @Heet Vora ! Usually, the very last line in the error message is the most interesting one, to be able to understand the issue. Sofie
