I’m looking at the list of filtering possibilities on time series, and notice that the unit V for volts is listed as v.

For volts, we’ll manage, but this could be more critical for megawatts (MW) versus milliwatts (mW). I think the casing for units should not be altered in the filter list:

Hi there @Kristian Nymoen !

A quick update from our side; this question and request was not forgotten.

The unit used in your project and screenshot above are free text units in a string field. For these, our aggregate functionality does not allow us to present the values with upper/lower case differentiation.

We have worked on a solution, based on the introduction of a unit catalogue that also will allow for automatic conversion between units of same type (e.g. “temperature” units of Kelvin, Fahrenheit, Celsius, ..). We will be phasing in this unit catalogue (that will keep capitalization), starting Q4. I can not make a hard commitment on timeline for completed implementation, but will keep you updated.

Best,

I would like to extend this to be not just for units field, but allow for other fields to not be forced to lowercase. Allow these to appear as the transformation and modeling has been formatted.

I found a thread that was what I was looking for. Do these need to be combined?
