Charts - ability to create chart using Python SDK

Hei @rmaidla Whats the ideal flow you are envisioning here ? you can display charts in Canvas today already but i am guessing you would like to automate this / do this for many instances of data say for all the wells ?

Hi @Arun Arunachalam, I would like to reinforce this topic. The Cognite graph is awesome, but it would be interesting to be able to call it from an external application to analyze an event, passing parameters to configure it from an event that is still in another system. Also, other DataOps tools offer Alert Analysis Templates, which allow you to start from a list of alerts/events and then open the graph from the event. Ex: Plot the graph starting 2h before the event starts and 1h after it ends for this type of events.

I would like to express support for this as well. Each week, we scan the customer data of the previous weeks and we sometimes have inputs about particular equipment or events which need adding specific time series from a DM. I envision a dictionary that we can send as an input to a charts API which displays all time series/events with explicit colours, calculations etc. It would also return a link which opens the created chart. Potentially, it would also share the graph/an image of the graph with SPECIFIC users. Right now, we can only make a chart public.
