Infield & maintain

Hello

Currently Maintain workorder has been displayed in infield under work order. My understanding is we plan the activities in maintain and the plan get visible in Infield via work order. What is the relationship between activities in maintain as compared to checklist in infield.

I am imaging that once we plan activities in maintain, we should be capable to “convert” the activities into checklist in infield?

Hi @Haw Keat Lim , there is a good training module on InField in academy.cognite.com for InField and I believe that this topic is demonstrated in the Overview section - https://learn.cognite.com/path/working-with-cognite-infield/cognite-infield

Hi @Haw Keat Lim

Thank you for your question.

Work Orders in InField can indeed be converted to checklists. You just need to view the Word Order in InField by going to the Overview tab and then using the switch to the right-hand side of the screen to toggle the view between Word Orders and Checklists. Set it to Work Orders. Then search for your Work Order, then expand the work order to view all its related tasks, then select all the tasks which you wish to convert to a checklist and you will find a “Create & assign” button on the right-hand side.

This and more about InField will be explained in more detail in our new InField course coming out in July so stay tuned.
Please let me know if you need any more help on this.

Regards,
Omar

@Kristoffer Knudsen maybe you can elaborate more on the Maintain and Infield connecion (reading the same work orders). Thank you!

@Omar Khalil  But this is within Infield, but what about activities created in Maintain to be visible in Infield for checklist creation. Was that support in previous versions?

We identified that it is a bug by updating few fields in respective data models and spaces. We will share more details with you.

@Dilini Fernando

No correct answer for this today.

Maintain and Infield activities are not connected directly today.

We created a transformation to solve it.
