Workflow to Connect Power BI to FT DataMosaix

I am currently experiencing issues connecting Power BI to FT DataMosaix for the project ai200prodtesting-44-datamosaix. I would like to highlight that for the essc-sandbox-44 project, the connection works as expected, as shown in the evidence below.

Below is the step-by-step procedure I followed to connect to the ai200prodtesting-44 project:

Steps:

1. Select Get Data > Cognite Data Fusion (REST API) connector.
2. Set up CDF Project and CDF Organization.
3. Choose Sign in as a different user.
4. Enter user email address.
5. Enter user password.
6. Click Connect.
7. Review the error message: Unable to connect.

the message with the error "Unable to connect" attached.

@Ivo can you confirm whether you have access to the CDF project ai200prodtesting-44 ?

Hello Mithila,

I'll ask the client.
He's a Rockwell consultant. I can ask him to contact you; I think that will be more direct.

Answering your question, I have extracted the json file with my acess rules from CDF UI by selecting my user on bottow left, then Access Info. Please, see attached image.

@Rafael Valerio Garcia thank you for the update. In order to further troubleshoot your issue can you please provide the following information?

  1. Are your colleagues also observe this behaviour for this project?
  2. Can you please check this documentation and confirm whether the following apps under Power BI are registered in the Entra ID?
  3. Can you please ask an Azure Entra Admin to sign in and check whether it’s possible to connect?

I’m looking forward to hearing from you.

  2. I have access to another project which is possible to connect to PBI.
  3. As mentioned, I can connect PBI to other project and my colleague can connect to the project wich I am facing issue.

@Rafael Valerio Garcia Thank you for the update. Can you please try to clear PowerBI desktop cache and try again to sign in and connect. Refer this article on how to clear cache.
