Hey.

I am trying to set up a monitoring job in Cognite Charts, with notifications sent to an Microsoft Teams Channel Email. It looks like the email would not be recognized as an valid email.

I got this error: “You should select a user or write a valid email address”
The email format is xxxx..onmicrosoft.com@emea.teams.ms

Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Hi Truls,

Currently, the monitoring job supports notifications only for emails with Cognite domain.

I see that the error message is misleading and we will update it.

Hei @Truls Ditlefsen Thanks again for reaching out to us. @Neringa Altanaite has already explained the crux of the issue here which is that we only support emails to accounts listed as user profiles on a CDF project. This is to keep the information secure and prevent falsified emails. I am curious though are you running into this validation message when you are trying to setup a monitoring job ?
