Not able to show all DM View properties in Search

I have a View that is an extension of CogniteAsset. There are a lot of properties in the View that are not visible via Search. These are simple data types like String and Boolean. Is this by design? The only way of seeing all the properties is to open the instance in Canvas, but then the information is shown as an image, making it impossible to copy the property value.

Hei @Gunnar Andreas !

Are the properties you miss from one of the Cognite Concepts such as CogniteSourceSystem, CogniteAssetClass or similar?

You say you see these properties when adding the asset to Canvas. Do you see the same properties if you go to the “properties” section of the instance in Search (except empty properties, that are hidden in Search)?

We have some way to go before we have added support for fetching all the properties from linked Cognite concepts, but we would like to have all of these available as 1) columns, 2) filters, 3) in the properties section. Would that be what you are missing?

Best,

Sofie

Hi @Gunnar Andreas

wondering about the questions I asked above. Would like to understand if you compared properties section in Search with what you see in Canvas.

Hi @Sofie Svartdal Berge

Sorry for forgetting to get back to you. The data model I used got deleted, so I’m not able to reproduce the problem right now. If I see this problem again I’ll add the details here
