The ability to view settings and especially root locations, should be restricted. It is understood that not everyone can change the settings, but even the ability to view the settings should be limited to at least only learning facilitators (template admins).

    By settings, are you then referring to the configuration in InField (the small gear button)? By default you cannot access the configuration, you need to be part of a specific CDF group.
