Cognite Remote: Ability to see time series tag against Direct links and Relationships

Hi Ibrahim,

Remote and the CDF team is improving search and search results for the use case you mention. We are tracking towards end and and of year release that will address this and this is on our roadmap.

I am not sure this is related to search in general. The ‘ask’ here is that i should be able to see all time series data associated to a tag. For example, I only see time series data if i search for an instrument tag but rather the value is if Time Series data is available against a Vessel, Column or Compressor tag.

Remote doesn’t have tag search for now. Currently on Remote is only possible to do searches on Asset name and functional location. 

At them moment we will park this request, and we will revisit this on later stage.

Hi Filipe, I realized this action has been parked for 10 months after it was planned for development. Is this something that is still being explored to execute or has it been dropped for development all together?

Due to the sunset process and the prioritization of the development of other features requested by customers with a higher priority level before the feature freeze at the end of last year, this feature was removed from the Remote development line.

Currently, Remote is possible to search time series only from assets/functional location (instrument tags).

However, in the Fusion Search, finding related tags one link/edge away from the physical asset linked in 3D is today supported, including timeseries.

Also, InField does support showing timeseries that have direct links and relationships to an Asset.
