I find it very strange that we do not have the ability to have Hotspotted documents in Infield.

InField has the capabilities for that @ibrahim.alsyed, and it’s in active use by a different customer. The reason you don’t find it in your tenant is because we haven’t straightened out all the kinks yet - there is an issue with file formats. (@Philippe Bettler or @Crystal Connor Richards might be able to give a fuller answer.) But rest assured, it’s in the pipeline for you as well.

@Jonas Laberg but we need to upgrade product functionality to deal with hotspotting on various formats.

Perhaps this level of technical detail is better discussed elsewhere, @ibrahim.alsyed. This is something which should go through our colleagues who are configuring InField and ingesting the data. If there are formats we don’t support it’s a ticket that should go into the backlog and be prioritised along with everything else. Let me follow up on this and get back to you.

Hey! Jumping in on this post as well.

@ibrahim.alsyed - could you give a small definition of “hotspotting”?

In general, the new version of InField will use a new file viewer component (similar to the one you find i Fusion). This is a large back-end improvement that will make it easier to add more “file viewer” use cases going forward.
