It would be great to have a document hierarchy or class or discipline-document classes in CDF just the way we manage asset hierarchy. Currently, i see a flat list of documents in files.

This is a great suggestion. Do I understand you right if you imagine a per-customer way of organizing an more “official” grouping of documents? Or an even more per-user freedom to organize and catogarize documents?
