Hey,

In our current workflow we’re expanding the use of Functions as a tool. We’re somewhat hampered by how “clumsy” it is to bundle and version control proprietary dependencies.

Is there something in the pipe to address this issue?

Kind regards,

Robert

Hi Robert,

Happy to hear that you are expanding the use of Functions. Would love to hear how are you using Cognite Functions on your Use Cases.

As for your question, can you please give us more details? Are you referring on being able to use private packages?
If so, we have this request on our roadmap, at the moment is marked with lower priority as it hasn’t been too much requested. But definitely we will take your request into account and revisit the roadmap and come back to you when I have more details to share.

Thank you,
Andreea.

Hey Andreea,

Our use-cases straddles the intended use of just bare-bones functions and what AIR allows. We’d be happy to share more, and I imagine we can get @Emilie Dahl to invite you when we’ll check in at the next step in our roadmap with functions.

We’re primarily concerned with access to a gitlab server hosted on-prem at the customer.

Kind regards,

Robert
