In the past, we encountered some performance issues when extracting data from the PI System using PI API. As an alternative, we have been using PI SDK to extract data from both PI Archive and AF. The question is, does Cognite PI Extract utilize PI SDK, and are there any performance limitations?

The Cognite PI Extractor is built on top of the PI AF SDK, which also means the PI AF SDK needs to be installed on the computer running the extractor.
