We’re excited to announce the release of Activities in Charts, a new capability that brings operational context directly into time series analysis on CDM and Hybrid Projects.

With Activities in Charts, you can now visualize asset-related activities, such as work orders, maintenance events, or operational tasks, directly on your Charts, alongside your time-series data. This makes it easier to understand what happened, when it happened, and how it impacted performance.

Why this matters
When investigating operational behavior, data alone is often not enough. Activities provide critical context that helps teams:

  • Correlate events and activities with changes in sensor data
  • Perform faster root-cause analysis
  • Reduce the need to switch between tools during investigations

By bringing activities into Charts, we enable a more unified and intuitive analysis experience.

What you can do with Activities in Charts

  • View activities overlaid on time-series charts
  • Align operational events with performance trends
  • Use Charts as a central workspace for investigation and troubleshooting

This capability also replaces the legacy Events visualization previously available in Asset Centric projects, offering a more modern and integrated experience.

is the end date a requirement for displaying Activities?

WOs have both but e.g. SAP Notifications or Alerts, Alarms have only start time. How do we aproach this type of activities then?
