I have joined the Group to learn. Have 3 Decades of Hands On Experience in the Domain of Oil and Gas. Recently a desire to learn new Technologies am working with  Cognite Data Fusion. Heard a Lot  about Public Data for BP North Sea. Will se how can I learn the new skills and attempt to implement for betterment of the Oil and Gas People community. Can I get some tips to focus on any specific areas ?

I recently stepped into a role focusing on projects that drive manufacturing efficiency and digital transformation.My primary goal right now is to leverage Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) to break down operational silos, access real-time industrial data, and transform those complex data points into actionable insights and strategic opportunities.I’m taking the Cognite Data Fusion for Domain Experts course to sharpen my technical grasp on how to best navigate open industrial data and address core operational challenges.My Learning Goals: Master the fundamentals of contextualizing industrial data within CDF. Glad to be here. I'm the Chief Data Officer at WhiteHawk Energy, an oil & gas operator, and I spend most of my time on a problem this community knows well: our operational knowledge and data are scattered across disconnected systems — and a lot of the real logic still lives in people's heads rather than in anything we own or can scale.Right now I'm working on two fronts. First, unifying our subsurface, land, and engineering data so it's actually queryable in one place instead of stitched together by hand. The Oil & Gas Data Model pack (CFIHOS / ISO 14224, pulling AVEVA, SAP, OPC UA, and PI together) is exactly the kind of foundation I'm trying to understand better. I am currently working on oil and gas engineering projects, primarily focusing on document control. My responsibilities include managing document control activities, creating workflows in the EDMS tool, generating reports, and performing data analysis on document metadata and workflow status. I ensure the timely delivery of accurate overdue reports and validate customer and contractor submissions against project standards. I am enthusiastic about continuous learning, which has helped me improve the effectiveness, accuracy, and presentation quality of my work.
