Greetings Industrial Data Operations Enthusiasts! A hearty welcome to users, builders, and digitalization enthusiasts leading the way in shaping industrial operations! Please take a moment to start a new topic to introduce yourself. Tell us about your role, and your expectations for gaining insights from this dynamic community. Your voice is important to us, and we look forward to hearing from you! Community Purpose:We are excited to bring together professionals working in the industrial operations space, driving measurable value and contributing to the overarching impact of digital transformation. Our collective goal is to spearhead the full-scale digital transformation of industries around the world, building a better tomorrow. Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much. - Helen Keller
I have joined the Group to learn. Have 3 Decades of Hands On Experience in the Domain of Oil and Gas. Recently a desire to learn new Technologies am working with Cognite Data Fusion. Heard a Lot about Public Data for BP North Sea. Will se how can I learn the new skills and attempt to implement for betterment of the Oil and Gas People community. Can I get some tips to focus on any specific areas ?
Hi everyone! My name is Natasha Bueno, and I am a Team Leader based in Brazil. I recently stepped into a role focusing on projects that drive manufacturing efficiency and digital transformation. My primary goal right now is to leverage Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) to break down operational silos, access real-time industrial data, and transform those complex data points into actionable insights and strategic opportunities.I’m taking the Cognite Data Fusion for Domain Experts course to sharpen my technical grasp on how to best navigate open industrial data and address core operational challenges. My Learning Goals: Master the fundamentals of contextualizing industrial data within CDF. Learn best practices from the community on bridging the gap between data science and project leadership. Discover how other domain experts are successfully accelerating time-to-insight in manufacturing setups. Looking forward to connecting, sharing experiences, and learning alongside all of you!Best regards,
Hello everyone, I started my CDF learning journey here.I’m a Data Engineer.Feel free to add me at LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/masaki-takeuchi-0046a4196/Greetings from Japan.
Glad to be here. I'm the Chief Data Officer at WhiteHawk Energy, an oil & gas operator, and I spend most of my time on a problem this community knows well: our operational knowledge and data are scattered across disconnected systems — and a lot of the real logic still lives in people's heads rather than in anything we own or can scale.Right now I'm working on two fronts. First, unifying our subsurface, land, and engineering data so it's actually queryable in one place instead of stitched together by hand. The Oil & Gas Data Model pack (CFIHOS / ISO 14224, pulling AVEVA, SAP, OPC UA, and PI together) is exactly the kind of foundation I'm trying to understand better. Second, building documented, tool-agnostic playbooks so AI workflows we stand up — title file summarization, defect notices, reliability analysis — are repeatable assets, not one-off experiments.I'm here to learn from operators who've already deployed CDF in an E&P context: what the data-foundation packs got righ
Hello everyone, starting my CDF learning journey here.I´m an Energy Engineer, working with OT/IT projects since 2007.Feel free to add me at LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/caiocardim/Greetings from Brazil.
Hello everyone! It is a pleasure to become a member of this community! I'm learning a lot and I hope I can collaborate with all of you guys!
Hello Everyone, I am new to Cognite and excited to be a part of this learning journey!
I recently joined the Field Engineering team at Cognite. I’m looking forward to learning alongside the community as I grow in my new role!
Hello everyone! I’m new to both Cognite and CDF, and I’m looking forward to connecting with the community, learning from your experiences, and expanding my knowledge along the way.
Hi all, like most with this topic, I’m new to Cognite and to CDF and I look forward to learn from you all 🙂Sebastiaan
Hello everyone,I'm new to CDF and just starting to learn. I'll do my best and look forward to learning from you all.
Hello All,I’m very eager to learn about cognate data fusion. Hope you guys will help me if I got stuck.
Hi everyone!I'm starting the CDF course and I'm eager to learn more about this platform.Happy studying everyone!
I am currently working on oil and gas engineering projects, primarily focusing on document control. My responsibilities include managing document control activities, creating workflows in the EDMS tool, generating reports, and performing data analysis on document metadata and workflow status. I ensure the timely delivery of accurate overdue reports and validate customer and contractor submissions against project standards. I am enthusiastic about continuous learning, which has helped me improve the effectiveness, accuracy, and presentation quality of my work.
Hi there! My background is strongly connected to critical operations, industrial systems, troubleshooting, reliability, and human decision-making under pressure. Over the past few years, I’ve been increasingly focused on the intersection between AI, operational excellence, industrial digitalization, and human-centered decision support systems for the energy industry. What interests me most about this community is understanding how industrial data platforms can move beyond dashboards and become true operational intelligence environments — helping teams improve decision quality, knowledge retention, reliability, safety, and execution in real-world operations. Looking forward to learning from everyone here and contributing with an offshore operational perspective whenever possible.Excited to be part of this journey.Best,Thiago Araújohttps://www.linkedin.com/in/araujotja/
Hi,I am discovering and learning CDF, I am following the Fundamentals course and I have an issue with contextualizing the P&ID: when I run the parser I get the error below: Is there something I missed or is is related to my computer or browser? Thank you for your help
