Improve box markups

As a turnaround planner I want to have box markups improved (resize shape, define level of transparency, by default place them on the floor) so that I can use them to plan scaffolding for upcoming turnarounds. As a turnaround planner I want to have box markups showing their dimensions (like area markups) so that I can use them to plan scaffolding for upcoming turnarounds.

Hi @Christoph,

I want to provide an overdue update to this post. We are working on area and volume measures for the 3D browser in CDF. This will be released in June. The volume measure will be a resizable box, semi-transparent, showing the dimensions. Will this help you plan scaffolding for upcoming turnarounds?

We have now launched the new measuring tool in the 3D browser. This include volume measure, where you can resize the box, and it is semi-transparent. We will close this topic for now.
