Go from 3D Preview to 3D Full View in the new Search

Please prioritize this for the December release if possible. You can’t look at layers like 360 images in the preview, which is fine, but there’s also no button to open in the full view. Hopefully this is low effort, as we just need a button to open in full view. 

We are making an update to the whole widget in Q1. The transition between preview and full screen is one of the things we will improve with the update.

As mentioned earlier, we planned improvements to the transition from 3D preview to full-screen view, and with the latest release, they’re here. You can now seamlessly navigate from the instant view to the full 3D experience while keeping the context of the asset you started from. This allows you to explore nearby assets, select different equipment, and fully interact with the model.

To switch to full 3D, either click the arrow on the preview widget or use the 3D toggle in the top-right corner.

We’re considering this request resolved, but we’ll continue to refine the experience and make the transition even more intuitive.
