When using the data explorer filters in CDF Fusion (such as the Metadata and Labels filters), it would be helpful if there was a 'fuzzy search' feature. This would allow users to search for relevant metadata or labels without needing to type the exact, full text. This could be particularly useful when there are many different metadata fields or label options to choose from, and remembering the exact wording may be difficult.

Would it be easier to just enable fuzzy searching on the “Search_Alias” metadata field? This is the most important field for fuzzy searching.

Hi @asahaf ,

Thank you for your feedback!

We’re currently investing in enhancing our search capabilities. While the latest improvements will be reflected in the Search UI, they won’t be visible in Data Explorer at this time.

Since this request pertains to a different application, I’ll go ahead and close this ticket. That said, exciting updates are on the roadmap, so please stay tuned!

Best regards,

Elka
