On behalf of a customer:
After uploading a file in CDF there is a tedious process to be able to delete it again. Currently the step one needs to take to delete a file is through a transformation targeting that file. The ability to delete a file in the UI, with a confirmation message saying “do you want to delete this?” would make simple upload/deletion more seamless for an end user.

This is not the first time we have got this feedback. I will add this as another data point, and will try to get this prioritized within our product backlog.
+2This functionality need to be restricted to a chosen/select set of users who are to be part of a separate CDF access group.
Thank you for your suggestion. At this moment, adding this functionality is not part of our current priorities. However, we will add your request to our long-term backlog for future evaluation.
