I would like the ability to ‘zoom’ to an area within remote from a hotlink within an external web application. e.g. link directly to the area in Remote from Maximo pertaining to a specific asset. I would also like the ability to embed a tool like Remote within a web application. Perhaps ‘Remote Web’ would be a good product...

Hi Colin,
Thanks for your feedback and feature request. I fully agree with the user need here and of its importance. In fact, it’s something that the Remote team has been discussing for some time now.
What keeps us from implementing this feature is an external dependency with the UnReal game engine, on which Remote is built on top of. Specifically, we are dependent on functionality for deep linking from an external application into a specific part of a 3D scene and this is not yet available. We have explored workarounds that would avoid external dependencies, but the effort is exceptionally high. For now is item has a placeholder in our roadmap for 2023.
