In CDF Data Explorer, on the events resource types, after filtering on a particular Event Type, the sub-types shown on the subtype dropdown should only show the subtypes applicable for the selected event type and the rest should be hidden.

Thank you for reporting a request to us through Hub.
For this specific request, we have deliberately chosen the approach to after you have set a filter on a certain type or several types, the subtype dropdown highlights which subtypes have results, and you can not choose subtypes with no results.
The subtypes that can be chosen, are both clickable and also indicates with a blue box around it the number of results for the specific subtype. Subtypes with no results highlight this with a grey box around “0” and these are not clickable.
