One of our users from HESS reached out to Support with the below request.
Currently the user can create an entity matching pipeline, but there's not way to schedule it to run and have to trigger it manually.
This used to be possible, but seems to have been removed.
Please bring this feature back as it's a core capability and differentiator that Cognite offers that they need to utilize to effectively contextualize their data.

After conducting an internal review, we couldn't locate any records of this feature being part of the Entity Matching UI previously. Nevertheless, we acknowledge the merit of this request, and that's precisely why we've chosen to incorporate it into our long-term roadmap.

Hello,
Thank you for your suggestion regarding improvements to Entity Matching UI. At this time, such enhancements are not within our current product strategy focus. Instead, we are directing our efforts towards advancing the contextualization of P&IDs. These improvements will facilitate various downstream use cases within our Business user UIs, including Industrial Canvas and Maintain.
While we appreciate your input, we have decided to park this feature request for now and will re-evaluate it in the future.
