Canvas: Redirect User to Canvas after adding something to it

Can you help me understand where you do not experience being redirected to the Canvas when adding data? Recording below of the flow from Search:

Oh never mind, I think this was just a problem in Data Explorer. You can close this.

Wait - it’s still a problem adding a Chart to an open Canvas. It doesn’t redirect you to the Canvas (or at least give UI feedback that it was successfully added).
