canvas: location where file/data is added

I agree as well. When adding data or drawings to the Canvas, new items are automatically added to the right of the last item, which means I have to manually adjust the layout by selecting each drawing after they are added. It’s very bothersome. Since I usually decide where I want to place a drawing on the Canvas before selecting the data, I would like to be able to specify the placement location in advance so that the drawing is automatically added to that area.
