Ability to Process DGN's

We are running into a very significant capability issue with Cognite where the platform cannot process DGN (Bentley Microstation) files. We (Marathon and the supporting Cognite project team) need immediate assistance with getting this resolved. Rachelle Harris requested I submit this ticket to help elevate the concern.

      Hi ​@n989,

       

      Can you specify the exact version of DGN files (7, 8 or older) you are having trouble with, and what kind of data they contain? This will help us better understand how we can support DGN files in CDF.

      We have a mixture of both V7 and V8’s. Our Cognite project team has example files that you can grab from them(Rachelle Harris). But in short they have the same info on them as our DWG’s. The problem being that some of our sites use Bentley Microstation (DGN’s) rather than autoCAD (DWG’s), but the information contained is similar.

      User has mentioned that this is related to 2D files only, not 3D, so maybe something you can look into ​@Elka Sierra?
