Limited number of containers showing in UI

Hi.I’ve set up a data model with 26 containers. How come only the first 10 of them (in alphabetical order) show up in the Fusion UI? I successfully return all 26 containers using the python SDK:client.data_modeling.containers.list(space="sp_kra_enterprise_model", limit=None)

Is there any library available for graphQL validation in python?

Is it possible to raise req/sec rate to CDF?

Hello,  We noticed that we get throttled (429 HTTP responses) on our backend whenever we make more than 10 req/sec. Is this a soft limit? Could we increase it? Thanks

Timeseries: microsecond granularity for datapoints

Hi,From what I can tell from the documentation and what I can see from the datapoints we have in CDF the datapoints seem to be using milliseconds. My question is if CDF is currently able to handle microsecond timestamps or if this is functionality that would require additional development and whether or not this is on the current roadmap. Markus Pettersen

Nesting of Synthetic Time Series - Combining More than 100 Time Series

Are Synthetic Time Series able to reference other Synthetic Time Series in their formulas specified?   This is the problem I am trying to solve:Synthetic Time Series is limited to referencing 100 time series Sometimes a unit/facility/system/functional location/site may have more than 100 direct child assets I need to calculate a “Synthetic Time Series” that is the daily average of a time series found on all child assets My thought is that, for 300 assets, I would have:STS A: Sum for assets 1-100 STS B: Sum for assets 101-200 STS C: Sum for assets 201-300 STS D: Sum of STS A, B, and C divided by 300Is there a better way to accomplish something like this in CDF?

Similar to 365d-ago for historical, how do we specify relative time for future?

For the Retrieve data points API and a few other API’s that allow date range input, we are able to specify a string where, “The format is N[timeunit]-ago where timeunit is w,d,h,m,s.”  This is able to specify a time in the past.  I am now trying to specify end as “-365d-ago” to set a date 365 days in the future, but this is giving an error.Is there another syntax available for specifying future dates?N[timeunit]-afterNow?365d-afterNow?

Including comments in PDF files in SVG files?

Hi there, I’m new to Cognite in general, but one task that my team is looking into is utilizing Cognite’s SVG files in our LCI and Plant Management applications and I have been looking into it somewhat.Not knowing all the details of the SVG rendition capabilities, I do see that our customer ‘Interactive P&IDs’ dataset in CDF has SVGs renditions without the comments that are in the PDF files (where applicable).Would Cognite be able to include the comments - now or in the future?The reason this is relevant for us is that a number of our doc profiles only have PDF files. Typically old documents on old installations.We’re missing native files (DGN, DWG), thus contractors are updating these drawings using comment features such as clouds, text, lines, etc in Adobe. That information seems to disappear in SVG renditions, but it’s quite critical information, especially in Plant Management systems. Thanks for listening to me!Best regards,Erik

Datapoint replacement inconsistencies

Hey! I’ve a problem with filling a gap from a source to a timeseries in CDF.  Problem descriptionWe’re filling a hole in a time-series from time A to  B. There are some datapoints on the edges of the interval in CDF.Data is extracted from the source, and in python prepped for the datapoints API as a list-of-tuples payload. For an arbitrary period I extract 2976 datapoints which I upload to CDF. Subsequently, I query the time-series for the same period of time and recieve 2928 datapoints. There are no NAN values in the input for either the date-time or value. The data is also hourly, and so I’m wary of it just being an edge effect of poor timestamp specifications for the retrieval. Give error message in Python SDK when number of datapoints more than limit

We are fetching quite a lot of data from CDF, both raw and aggregated, and we have experienced error messages from Postman and Java requests when the aggregated number of datapoints are exceeding the limit (10.000), but we have yet to experience this for the Cognite Python SDK for raw data (limit 100.000). Is there an error message implemented for this intention? From the code in the SDK in GitHub it appears that if the data is exceeding the limit then it would return an empty list, which is a very dangerous return setting. Best regardsOliver

A common setup that we have at Cognite is having 3 different environments: development, test and production. We have one specific Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) project for each of these environments. This setup allows to develop new features without interfering with production data. Also, it makes the deployment of new features to production much safer, since they are tested before.Sometimes, you still want to have the data you used during your tests, in your production environment. For example, if you extracted some data from sensors and saved them as time series in CDF, you may want to keep this historical data when you move to production. Can data access rights be scoped by other means than datasets?

What are the alternatives for scoping read/write rights to different users?Dataset is the most intuitive way of limiting access rights to subsets of data, but if i would like to share data that is scattered across different datasets, but  easily identifiable by sharing a common label, are there any options?

Grafana: Flow to volume per day / week

Hi! I’m curious what is the best practice to do this basic thing and visualize on Grafana ( ideally without code): With a flow transmitter, summarize the total volume per day or week.  Correct the above against a threshold or a running signal. Ie. I now when the flow should be 0Here’s how I do nr 1, it feels a bit like a hack. Nr2 I am solving with Functions in CDF, however it would be nice if there’s a quick way of doing it without code,  The query looks like this: 24*ts{externalId="arba:one:s=0:PLC_03!Vc_S07_200_FT01_PV", alignment=1653386400000}-Should the alignment be at the middle of the day, 12:00, or at midnight 00:00? When we get back to wintertime, it will be off by one hour..

Change name of dataset

We would like to change a name of our dataset in Fusion (specifically data set id=7661001648160088 on statnett, test), but get the error message [  {    "status": 400,    "message": "Either set must be populated or setNull must be true."  }]` The dataset has related timeseries and asssets. What does it mean that the dataset must be populated? And what are we missing?

Timeseries aggregates gives strange results for "average"

Aksels ts is Original data , ts average at 04:00 = 0.125, can only be explained by interpolated values The example above shows that 1h aggregates of type average computed at time-point 03:00 takes into considereation the interpolated values in the time-span 03:00 to 04:00. Is it always like this as long as i choose granualarity 1h ? I could not find the answer to my question here:Aggregation | Cognite documentation

CDF Client connection string

Hi there,I was wondering how one would go about representing a CDF Client credential as a connection string.The main idea is to have a single string representing the credentials needed to connect to CDF. The connection string itself should be unwrapped by whatever client it is passed to (Python SDK, JS SDK, etc), and should of course not be sent as part of the request to the API.For tenants using API-keys, something like this may make sense:cdf://CLIENT_NAME:API_KEY@api.cognitedata.com/PROJECT_NAMEHowever, using tokens instead of api-keys is a bit trickier:cdf://TOKEN_USERNAME:TOKEN_SECRET@api.cognitedata.com/PROJECT_NAME?token_url=TOKEN_URL&token_scopes=TOKEN_SCOPESNaturally, it is possible to but anything in the URL parameters, but generalizing the username, password and path-properties would be great.Some challenges that come to mind:How to differentiate between different authentication methods (i.e. api-keys and tokens Is it possible the keep a consistent scheme regardless of a

Hello,I wanted to checkout on any upper limits for following if limit exists.Max no of Schemas that can be created in one Data Model in FDM Max no of fields that could be added in one schema Max no of Data Models under one project Also any other limits around the data size or count or number of records that could be fetched in one query or anything related in general if exists.Please help us out with these numbers, this would help us to plan accordingly!

Relationships in powerbi

HiI have retrieved timeseries from an asset in PowerBi. That asset is linked through a relationship column to a group of assets. However the asset and the group it belongs to are connected trough 4 steps:groupwanted <- belongsTo - subgroup<- belongsTo - type of group <- connectsTo - group of a few timeseries assets<- belongsTo - timeseries asset Im wondering how to link the relationships in power bi, and how to orient to the right place.
