Hi Everyone!

I’m Emil, currently working as an Enterprise Architect at Equinor, where I contribute to enabling large-scale digital initiatives that support operational improvements and innovation across the company. My role allows me to collaborate with teams to align technology with strategy and explore solutions to complex industrial challenges.

My background is in Electrical Engineering and service as a Navy officer, experiences that shaped my technical foundation and leadership skills. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to expand my knowledge through further education in digital transformation and finance. Earlier in my career, I worked at Cisco’s Professional Services, where I gained valuable experience supporting enterprise clients by delivering transactional projects and subscription-based optimization engagements, focusing on digital transformation through lifecycle strategy, operational excellence, and enterprise architecture methodology.

I’ve joined the Cognite Academy to learn more about how Cognite approaches (industrial) data, contextualization, and value creation. I’m particularly interested in how these concepts can help drive meaningful and sustainable changes, both for heavy industry but also as a modern replacement to a traditional Application landscape/Enterprise Architecture. I hope to apply these insights to better support digital transformation efforts and contribute to shaping the future of business architecture.
