How do I build my first custom Cognite Flows app using CDF data?

Hi everyone

I'm currently learning Cognite Flows and preparing for the Builder Certification.

I'd like to build a practical industrial monitoring app using CDF data.

Could someone guide me on how to connect CDF data, build the UI using Aura components, and test the application?

Are there any beginner-friendly examples or step-by-step tutorials available?

    Hi Shahal, 

    I would recommend first reading through the Getting Started Guide for Flows custom apps. You can also hook your agentic IDE (cursor, github copilot, claude, ect) to the Cognite docs to allow your agent to query our docs which contain implementation guides on using Flows, Aura, and more. 

    You can also use the built in agent chat in our documentation to for guidance on how to get started. 

    The Flows Builder Certification will guide you through the process of creating a beginner friendly application.
