flexible data modelling with dataset

I have created a Flexible Data Model and now want to populate it from my source data. 
I have switched to the Mapping editor and am choosing my source data:

The data I want to use is in a dataset linked to a pipeline and is not in the Staging area.
 


How can I get the data from my dataset into my model?

      If your data has been ingested as Assets of a particular Dataset, you use those as your source.   You can then map from Asset attributes and metadata to populate your target data model.
