HI Team,

Can we have one timeseries associated with two different asset?

If yes, how can we handle such scenario in PBI ? Will this same share TS have same ExternalId?

We have seen one business UC where one TS is getting shared between two different assets.

Regards,

Arati

Yes. We have connected Time series to multiple tags. You can leverage Relationship or Asset ID matches to seggregate.

I am not sure you can create a TS for 2 assets, based on API spec.

...

assetId as assetId, ← only one asset

But maybe you can “link” TS to other assets.

Hi @Paramale Arati, did Ibrahim’s answer help you, or do you need more information?

I am unsure if I understand the solution here. Since my question is more towards how to handle this scenario in Power BI as we usually have one to more relationship ( Asset > TS). As per my understanding same TS cant be assigned to two different assets in Power BI modelling. Please correct if this is incorrect.
