opcua extractor metadata fetch details

Is it possible to get more information on how metadata fetch is happening in opcua extractor? we tried to look at the code base(https://github.com/cognitedata/opcua-extractor-net) but its huge, anyway you can narrow down where to look for details?

or if you could give a brief answer, that would be great too!

The short answer is that the answer is complicated, and unfortunately, I’ll need to wait for the end of summer vacations (end of July/early August) to have the engineering team help answer the question in full.

AFICT, the complications relate to the differences in the data received from the source vs what we can/will do with metadata in CDF.

Hi @Sangavi M,

We have forwarded your request to our engineering team, and they will respond to you in this thread. Please be aware that there might be a delay in their response due to the summer vacation period. We appreciate your patience during this time. Thank you, and feel free to reach out if you have any other inquiries.
