It would be nice if CDF warned users if they are uploading a document that already exists within CDF. It should still allow them to upload it if they wish, but a warning might help to cut down on duplicate documents.
This is specifically an issue with Canvas, where users can drag documents into their canvas. It is less of an issue when using file upload pipelines, because duplicated can be mitigated in those scenarios.
