As a user i want to have the possibility to select multiple activities and shift them all by a selected timeframe (e.g. 2 days, 2 weeks, 1 year ….)
Reason: Often we have Projects with multiple activities and there are delays communicated, e.g missing spare parts so we have to shift the hole project! This is currently not possible and you might to adopt start and end date for a bunch of activities which is very time consuming! This is a downside especially when direct planing is used and the activities are created directly in the tool! (Other planning software such as Primavera or MS Project have this as an standard option)

We thought about two possibilities last time - one through the gantt chart where you select and move multiple activities in the gantt and one, a bit simpler, where you would select activities in the table and move by x days from the snackbar (see screen below).
Let me know if you have any thoughts!

I think the first option in my mind, would be to move by x days in the snackbar as you have shown in the screen shot above! (as you have mentioned it would be a perfect option to select a new start date and the System is shifting it then by x days!
The gantt option sound also great, an would work great in a meeting to shift it very quickly, but as a lot of activities has specific start and end time the moving in the gantt would change these hours and that’s why it might cause then extra work to reset the start/end hours!
Would be great if this feature can make it also to development! 🙂
