Example document from the pdf preview in fusion.

There is a rotate symbol, but the rotate symbol does not rotate the image, but it resets the view to “fit to full page”.

How do I rotate the documents previewed? or do i need to download it and do it an do it in a native app?

And if not so, can rotation functionality in the document viewer? and maybe change to icon of the rotate symbol and also maybe remember the rotation of the page in the viewer aswell? cause there are often documents and diagrams combind in a single pdf file?

Thank you for the feedback @Stig Harald Gustavsen!

The symbol resets the zoom. Most probably we will change the icon as it seems to be confusion.

As for the rotation functionality, we will add the request to our short term roadmap. As for now the quick workaround would be to download the file and rotate it on your computer.

Thank you,

Andreea.

We have a very similar need for user generated files brought to the Canvas - having flexibility here for the end user to rotate the file within Canvas would be very valuable.

Hi @Martin Miller,

Totally agree and is something that we want to enable by the end of the year.

Thank you for your feedback,
Andreea.

@Andreea Oprea has the aforementioned rotation functionality on Canvas been implemented? I was unable to find it. Can you provide update on when we will see that functionality? This would be helpful to have for shapes, text, stamps, and file types on a canvas.

Hello,

Sorry, we have some unforeseen delays in releasing this option. I will be back to you as soon as we will have it in the product.
Initially, we will make it possible for files and after that will extend to more elements in Canvas. Atm it’s already possible to rotate stamps by using the upper top anchor.
