Cognite InField: Leverage Surveilance Cognite InRobot Round to Populate Checklist in Infield

Related products:InField

If we are using Robot to do checklists such as read gauges, it would make sense that data can be used to populate the Infield checklist in Cognite Infield. These two need to be integrated. Can we create a checklist and tasks in Infield, and then use a robot to complete it?

That’s a great idea, @ibrahim.alsyed . We’ve discussed exploring this joining of forces previously, but wanted to wait until we had a specific customer case for it. Thanks for providing that! I want to ask you, how mature is this idea for you? On a scale where one is “that could be kind of cool” and ten is “this provides real value and we want to initiate a PoC” where does it sit for you?

I would say this would sit at 8. I would like to start the POC this year.

Noted, Ibrahim.  I’m talking with my robot colleague. Let us get back to you when we’ve discussed some possibilities!

Hi @ibrahim.alsyed ! Just a small update on this one.

Yes, this makes a lot of sense. We’ll be looking at how to closer integrate our field offering (InField and InRobot) going forward, being able to create a checklist in InField that a robot can execute on is definitely in scope. (cc @Elias Bjørne
