InField Observation: Create new customizable fields

Currently, it’s possible to customize the existing fields on the Observation creation workflow. Users also mentioned that it will be important to have the possibility of add new fields on the Workflow, especially for the sites that used to have iCap. On iCap, multiple fields allow the users to insert more details about the Observation. With that, they can use those details to act more precisely on the execution of the observation.

I would like to add to this a bit. We would find it helpful to allow for some sort of conditional logic to be present. For example, we use observations today to allow our field operators to open service requests back to our CMMS system. If we had the ability to add more fields and dictate which fields appeared based on items selected, we could start to allow Observations to be more generically used and extended to other business processes. i.e. “Which type of Observation are you wanting to select? Service Request, Changes Management request, Operator Log note, etc.… Based on the selected item we could have them fill out the needed fields.
