All hosted extractors needs some kind of monitoring like extraction pipelines. This is supported for on-premise extractors and we don’t understand why this has been left out of the hosted extractors.

We have requirements for monitoring all extractors and integrations we have in production, as I assume a lot of other companies does as well, but without monitoring hosted extractors are not an option at all. We simply can’t use them, it is unacceptable to skip monitoring.

We would very much like to use them, but in their current state they’re a selling point for a powerpoint presentation with no real applicability.

Hi @Markus Pettersen. For the record, alerting for hosted extractors is “waiting” for the availability of the Integrations feature (new on-premises extractor monitoring and management infrastructure) which will include an alerting component. The original schedule for Integrations was the just release Q2 release of CDF, but getting the feature out depended on the planned alerting/notification center for CDF. With the priority shift during the spring, this feature got delayed and shipping integrations without alerting was not going to deliver a ton of value, so we delayed it as we’re building an alerting/notification system for Integrations. Once this system is available - we hope in Q4, 2025 but schedule is a bit loose and TBA right now - we’ll likely bring alerting for hosted extractors by using the same capabilities as will be used by the on-premises extractors as well.

I have tentatively added this to our Roadmap for Q1, 2026 (the functionality depends on a new feature we’re working on that also has alerting support - Integrations).
