  • As a user who does model contextualization I want to temporarily hide 3D objects (e.g. by shift+klick) so that I am able to contextualize the object that is hidden behind
  • As a user who does model contextualization I want to temporarily hide all already contextualized objects so that I can easily identify if I missed on (small) object and contextualization is easier to do.
  • As a user who does model contextualization I want to select objects by drawing a box around and assign every shape within to a floc so that objects consisting of a lot of single 3D shapes can be contextualized easily.
  • As a user who does model contextualization I want to be able to separate objects (e.g. a long pipe) so that I can assign it to two separate flocs.

Hi @Christoph,

Interesting ideas you have added here. Is see that it is almost a year ago, though to me they still seems valide. We are revamping the whole 3D contextualization flow in the next months. I added your ideas to our roadmap, and we will evaluate them in the revamp. I definitely think the one about hiding is still very relevant. Will update when we have landed on designs.
