We need Cognite to provide a PowerBi conenctor that is not just a batch import to PowerBi but rather a LIVE POWERBI connection of data that provides instant updates do dashboards in near real time.

Cognite need to make the following changes for a near real time refresh,

Need an API key from Cognite Data Fusion and they must set up the required permissions/configurations for our account.

Required CDF API’s endpoint to RAW source to get real time Data 

After all required configurations by CDF is completed, PowerBI can connect to CDF real time data.

We have added this product idea to our long term roadmap. Due to our current set of product priorities, this specific idea has a current target for early access availability towards the end of 2H2024.

@Thomas Sjølshagen  thanks for the HowTo document. Is this item still part of the longer term roadmap? If so, is the thought still end of 2H2024?

Unfortunately, for 2024, we lack the capacity to extend the CDF/DM OData interface in support of incremental data delivery, plus building and shepherding a new PowerBI connector through the MS certification process.

So it is parked for now, as the team has a number of other initiatives we’re working on.
