Hi.

I’d like to see more aggregation functions on the grafana data source. Currently only average, interpolation and step_interpolation are allowed. Any chance to implement support for Sum, Count, etc.?

Error: count is not one of the valid aggregates: AVERAGE, INTERPOLATION, STEP_INTERPOLATION

The suggestion only concerns the “Time series custom query” tab.

The tabs “Time series from asset” and “Time series search” already work with all aggregate funcitons.

Hi @Kristian Nymoen,

Looks like this is mostly about providing more aggregates for Synthetic Time Series, and exposing them to Grafana. We do not currently have updates to aggregates on the roadmap for Synthetic Time Series planned. Will leave this in “Gathering Interest” to gauge what the interest levels across our customer base is and whether to consider shifting focus.

Thank you for providing the insight!

As we’re evaluating how to handle calculated time series as part of other product initiatives over the next couple of months, I’m placing this in “Parked” for now. Will revisit.
