In order to make it easier to use the data registered in CDF, we propose the development of a data linkage function with Excel.
From the data registered in the CDF (mainly time series data), for example, when creating a plant operation report,
Right now, I have to download the time series data as a CSV, then copy and paste it into the report, which is very time-consuming.
If it is possible to acquire data directly into Excel cells by the Excel linkage function, the utilization of data will be promoted.
There is still an Odata function, but it would be best if it was in a more user-friendly form like an Excel function.

I would also like to request the above features. We are using the PI System, which provides an Excel Add-on tool called PI Datalink. When we perform simple analyses using time series data, we use Excel templates that we have been using for over a decade. These templates contain formulas registered with multiple Excel functions, and we intend to continue using these templates in the future. We considered registering similar formulas in Charts but due to the large number of formulas and the sheet volume of such Excel files, along with the fact that Charts lacks some necessary functions, this approach is not realistic. We are aware of the OData export method but we want to eliminate the extra step of copying and pasting the exported data.

I am Mami Kubota from Cosmo Oil. I have also the same problem as Mr. Takase and Mr. Fujiwara. I hope it can be resolved.
