Hello from the Solutions Portal team!

We have a new release coming, which is by far our largest release yet! We hope this release will make it easier to

  • Browse through your data inside your CDF Project
  • Enable new solutions built on top of CDF
  • Enable new no code solution possibilities 

 

We have a new home screen with new functionality!

  • Any user can now ‘Browse solutions’. Through here, you can view all solutions that Cognite has to offer.
  • If they’re not enabled, a demo can be requested.
  • If you are an admin, SOME applications can be installed through a wizard for free (today, blueprint) and some are automatically installed (Charts).

An explorer designed for SMEs. We’ve taken the old ADI explorer, made some improvements based on feedback, and now have an early version out for early adopters.

  • An early version of global search is included also - easily search your way through any CDF resource (with more resources to come!)

 

New CDF application: Blueprint!

  • Blueprint is a no code solution that allows you to build a custom dashboards with live time series data overlaid on top. Remember ADI infographics? This is that, but supercharged. and its free for anyone to use with a CDF license! You can now visit solutions portal to install it with a few clicks.

Solution Portal is currently in beta with no current plans to go general availability. There is an ongoing feature assessment to decide on its future.

@Hunter Beck Can you or one of the product managers comment on the future of this beta? Custom dashboard with live timeseries is of great advantage for various use cases in manufacturing. 

Thanks for reaching out Ram! Solutions Portal, as Philippe pointed out, is still in beta. We are actively exploring the future of the functionality and how we can bring the core features even closer to Cognite Data Fusion. As such, a strict timeline is not yet set for development. 


Would love to hear more about how you’re thinking to use Solutions Portal, and what’s most critical to your use!
